Cooper's Dip is a self catering bolthole situated within spectacular Stackpole Estate, a national treasure, and in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park giving the immediate area a feeling of unspoilt nature and tranquility. Ever popular with beach lovers, ramblers, cyclists, adventurers and families or just a quiet getaway for two, Stackpole ticks every box.

A renovated 200 year old detached stone barn, once part of the historic Stackpole Estate, is set on a quiet lane on the edge of Stackpole National Trust woodland near the popular Mencap Walled Gardens and the village of Stackpole with its quaint pub and restaurant.

This former stable and sheep dip has been transformed into a stylish welsh cottage by award-winning Blighty Antiques.  It is comfortably furnished retaining its historic charm with rough rendered walls and wooden floors. The cosy open plan living and dining space is full of character, with woodburning stove for snug evenings and is arched with one step down to the modern galley style kitchen. French doors open to a gravel and paved patio and the stable door opens up to a large lawned garden.

Mr Blighty has done a playful job of unifying old and new and sourcing items locally. Within the building's thick rendered walls, sits a painted welsh dresser adjourned with collective mix of rare welsh pottery and abstract objects collected from the coastline.  The welsh slate work surface and mismatch of antique handles on the cupboard draws give the kitchen a quirky charm.

The welsh holiday cottage is well equipped with everything you need, including sky tv and plenty of books and games.  With its bucolic style this is a wildlife hideaway for families and friends to recharge their batteries.
